Infonet IT Solutions has filed a DRHP to raise upto INR 600 million. It may also raise upto INR 200 million through a pre-Ipo placement of shares.
Infonet will use the funds for setting up Network Operating Centre, setting up a new Regional Office at Bangalore and expandin it's existing business division.
Chartered Capital and Investment is the book running lead manager to the issue.
Infonet founded by Jason Thomas and Praveen Valiya Parampath April 1999. They hold 46.63% each in the company. Infonet provides IT solutions which includes designing and consultancy, structured cabling, switching, routing, optical fibre services, network auditing, wireless network, security, video conferencing, servers, uninterrupted power supply and storage, VoIP, unified communications, managed leased line network technology, physical security and facility management services, etc.

From April this year, there's change in the primary market. Nearly complete absence of below 50Cr IPOs and for understandable reasons. The market is sleeping. Though a popular bias would like to believe that these are the worst of the lot and will not perform - and quite often they tank spectacularly - but there are cases of value.
